Dr. Wicks with puppyDr. Wicks has joined our clinics from the East Coast/Newfoundland! It was there that he graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PEI. Dr. Wicks has that classic genuine good-natured personality that makes you feel like you’re talking with a friend.

After graduation, Dr. Wicks spent time working in both urban/emergency and rural settings before moving to Ontario. His special interest areas include senior pet care and soft tissue surgery. He is also passionate about low stress handling for his patients in every aspect of their visit to the clinics. You can count on Dr Wicks to take the time needed to get to know you and your pet, fully explain any issues he sees with your pet, and come up with a plan that fits both you and your pet’s needs.

Outside of working at the clinics Dr. Wicks spends time perfecting his chef skills, exploring Ontario sights and caring for his Shiloh Shepherd “Boocha” and Maine Coon cat “Atlas” who have as much affection for him and he does them!
