Customer service is a vital part of our clinics and to us all individually.
We took the time to discuss what customer service means to us personally and then discussed what clients want from us as a veterinary clinic. What we discovered not only became what we believe customer service is to us, but it also became our hospital’s Mission Statement: “Where heart and medicine come together for the benefit of pets, their people and our community.”
In her early teens, Vera moved from Brazil to Nova Scotia when her family immigrated to Canada. There she attended Dalhousie University earning her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science & International Relations in 2008. In that same year, she married Dr. Haerishton Lima and moved to Smiths Falls.
As the assistant medical director for CVS and LVC, Annie manages the big picture medical aspect of the clinics. She can be found setting up continuing education for the team, conducting CPR drills and rolling out updated policies and procedures so our team can best serve our patients and their people. She loves to help her team support the human-animal bond that is so important to all of our clients. She looks forward to new adventures every day, and is always eager to learn.
As the human resources manager for our clinics Amber works hard to help maintain a good work life balance for all our staff members. She is one of the behind-the-scenes people that help our clinics run by keeping the bills paid, and staff training up to date. She is also the “Schedule Queen” and always manages to get all positions covered even when short staffed. Most days you will find her helping around the clinic in anyway she can, or providing coffee and donuts while doing check ins with the staff. The most rewarding part of the job for her is being able to help make someone else’s day better.
