Dr. Young is originally from Ottawa and the Rideau lakes and has been in and out of our clinics for years! She has been in and out of the clinic since she was 6 wanting to be a vet and after many years, and lots of experience later we welcome her as part of our team.
Dr. Young completed her first degree in biology, chemistry and equestrian studies, living in canada, USA and Africa. She completed her Veterinary education at the Royal Veterinary College in London, England in 2019 where she studied, worked and lived for the last 11 years. Before coming to us, she worked at an emergency Veterinary hospital caring for all small animals.
She has a keen interest in Feline Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery and Senior pet care. She is honest, kind and hard working and will ensure your pet gets the best care she can give. Outside of work, she stays active spending all her time on the water and on the farm. She lives with her beloved cats Duchess and Ginger, as well as her two horses, and all her barn cats who she spoils rotten.
