Dr. Smith has joined our clinics from New York State. Prior to entering the veterinary field, she worked as a mental health counselor and in the court system. In this profession, she developed a passion for communication and problem solving. After discovering her love for veterinary medicine, she attended Cornell University in New York State. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. After graduation, Dr. Smith immediately relocated to Ontario to join our team.
Dr. Smith enjoys building client relationships, focusing on the human-animal bond, and providing positive experiences for her veterinary patients. Her clinical interests include dentistry and preventative care.
Outside of work, Dr. Smith enjoys spending as much time as she can outdoors, and loves to read. Joining her in Ontario is her husband, son, and their beloved pets, Belle and Sylvie.
